Is the "world memory master" really a memory genius?

This is just a mythical marketing slogan. In fact, this title is no different from accountants, architects and lawyers, and it is much easier than them.

First of all, the World Memory Contest is a non-governmental organization, not an international competition. Participants are just memory lovers.

Secondly, it is inconceivable that the level of world memory masters is very low. An ordinary person, after three to five months of memory training, can completely meet this requirement.

These three conditions, the first one will be OK in less than a month, and the second one needs to build 540 memory piles. The third one is a little more troublesome. You need 1 0,000 columns, and then you need to practice repeatedly. Irregular numbers are piled up.

Memory is like a Rubik's cube. If the method is right, it can be done easily, and the rest is the problem of practice time and intensity. Generally speaking, an ordinary person can reach this standard through memory training for more than 4 hours a day for three to five months.

Memetics is just a memory skill and method, and it can't improve the physiological memory effect. Effective for deliberate conscious memory, but ineffective for unconscious memory. It is no problem to recite numbers, names and essays, but it is difficult to recite a long article word for word, and it is even more difficult to recite a book with hundreds of thousands of words, let alone a large dictionary.

At present, the memory method is mainly based on performance and has certain practicability, but it can't achieve the effect in advertising, just like speed reading, and the effect is exaggerated. This industry still relies mainly on bluffing. As long as you dare to talk and brag, you will be a master if you practice for a while. In fact, many people don't even understand the principles and common sense of brain and memory. There are some who don't fool, but not many. This industry cheats money by unequal knowledge. There is the simplest way to judge. If someone tells you about right brain development, you can go. You are either a liar or you don't know anything, even the common sense of brain and memory.

You can ask the person who recites 1000 words a day how many foreign languages he knows or how good his English is, how many original books he has read and how good his spoken English is. People who talk about reading thousands of words and tens of thousands of words all day have never seen him talk about how many books he has read, and his level and knowledge cannot be fully reflected.
