Deposition and accumulation in the oil tank and oil circuit will soften, dissolve and mix into the oil, resulting in poor oil circuit.
Therefore, generally speaking, vehicles with a mileage of more than 30,000 kilometers and an unclean fuel supply system should be cleaned before using ethanol gasoline. The cleaning operation shall be carried out in the garage with the qualification above Grade II, in strict accordance with the specifications, focusing on cleaning the oil tank, fuel filter, oil pump, carburetor, nozzle, oil circuit and oil circuit filter one by one.
In the process of cleaning, attention should be paid to thoroughly remove impurities in the oil tank and oil system, and drain the water accumulated at the bottom of the oil tank. Replace some rubber and plastic parts that are not suitable for ethanol gasoline, debug and check after cleaning, and adjust the vehicle adaptively.
Second, prevent the water in the engine from exceeding the standard.
Automobile ethanol gasoline is mixed with a certain amount of denatured fuel ethanol, which is a hydrophilic liquid and easily miscible with water. Unlike gasoline, gasoline can be separated from water, and water is deposited at the bottom of the fuel tank. Therefore, when the vehicle uses ethanol gasoline for the first time, it should check the fuel tank to prevent ethanol gasoline from dissolving with the precipitation water that may exist at the bottom of the fuel tank, so that the water in the engine oil exceeds the standard and affects the normal operation of the engine.
Three, summer use should be paid attention to
When the temperature is high in summer, the volatility of fuel oil increases. For example, the exhaust valve of the fuel tank is blocked, and some fuel changes from liquid to gas, so the gas cannot be discharged through the exhaust valve, which easily increases the probability of gas resistance in the oil circuit. Don't fill the tank too full when refueling in summer, leaving room for oil expansion and gasification.
Fourthly, ethanol gasoline has an effect on rubber.
The test shows that most rubber parts can adapt to ethanol gasoline, only a few can't, but the corrosion is slow. The rubber diaphragm in some mechanical gasoline pumps produced in the early stage has poor adaptability, and expansion cracks appear in some cases after using ethanol gasoline. Because the rubber parts can't distinguish the material composition in appearance, the purchased parts can be soaked in ethanol gasoline for vehicles in advance by the designated garage, and then loaded for use. Long-term use should consider whether the rubber and organic parts in the oil supply system are resistant to alcohol corrosion.
5. Choose ethanol gasoline according to the compression ratio.
The label of automobile ethanol gasoline, like ordinary gasoline, is marked with octane number, and the labeling method is to add the letter E before the gasoline label. In general, E90 vehicle ethanol gasoline should be selected when the compression ratio is between 7.5 and 8.0. E93 ethanol gasoline should be selected when the compression ratio is between 8.0 and 8.5; E95 ethanol gasoline should be selected when the compression ratio is between 8.5 and 9.0; E97 ethanol gasoline should be selected when the compression ratio is above 9.0.
