Baihe River, which originates from Yuhuangding, Funiu Mountain, Songxian County, Luoyang City (3212m above sea level, known as the first peak in the Central Plains), has a total length of 630km, including 50km from its source to the junction of nanzhao county in Nanyang City, belonging to Luoyang City.

It is 550 kilometers from nanzhao county via Fangcheng County, Wancheng District and Wolong District to Xinye County, Nanyang City. Baihe left Xinye and flowed into Hanshui River via Hubei Province, with a total length of only 30 kilometers, flowing to Xiangfan and merging into Hanshui River.
