Plant morphology of wisteria leucocephala
Climbing deciduous shrubs, 1 ~ 2 m high. The young branches are green, and the old branches are grayish yellow. Bark often splits irregularly. Branchlets, leaves and petioles have yellow fine hairs, and finally they are hairless. The leaves are odd-numbered pinnate compound leaves, 9 ~ 13 lobules, 6 ~ 10 cm long and 3 ~ 4 cm wide, oval or oblong, with short tips, round to several heart-shaped bases and filamentous hairs on both sides; The base of the total petiole is slightly enlarged, with a length of 15 ~ 20 cm. Racemes droop, length 10 ~ 15 cm: flowers are white, length 2 ~ 2.5 cm. Pod length 15 ~ 20 cm, densely villous. The flowering period is from June to July.
