Brief introduction of Xiamen Garden Expo Park

Xiamen Garden Expo Park, the full name of Xiamen International Garden Expo Park, is the venue of the 6th China (Xiamen) International Garden and Flower Expo in 2007, which is co-sponsored by People's Republic of China (PRC), Ministry of Construction and Xiamen Municipal People's Government. It is located in Xinglin Bay, Xiamen. It consists of Zhongzhou in the former Xinglin Bay and its nearby islands, as well as some areas on the western and northern coastlines of the Bay; At the start of construction, the river course was excavated manually, and Zhongzhou and its nearby islands were planned as 9 islands, which were connected by 16 bridge to form a "Water Garden Expo Park". Total area 10.82 km2, of which the land area is 5.55 km2 and the water area is 5.27 km2.
