2. Introduction College of Handan Vocational and Technical College was founded in June, 1983, formerly known as Handan Vocational College, and renamed as Handan University in June, 1984. At that time, Comrade Hu Yaobang personally wrote the name of the school, and in June it was renamed as Handan Vocational and Technical College, 1997.
The college covers an area of 830 mu and has more than 8,900 full-time students.
