Network Configuration under 1 and WIN2000/XP Under the classic interface of WIN2000 and winXP, right-click the online neighbor and left-click Properties in the displayed drop-down menu. In the default interface of winXP, open my computer, right-click my online neighbors in other places, and left-click Properties in the displayed drop-down menu.

In the properties window of My Network Places, you can see the icon of local area network or high-speed Internet connection. Click the icon with the right mouse button, and then click Properties with the left mouse button in the drop-down menu. The system will display the properties window of local connection, and double-click the Internet protocol (TCP/IP) with the left mouse button. In the Internet Protocol Properties dialog box, select "Use the following IP address" and fill in the IP address, subnet mask, default gateway and DNS server according to the data in the user data card. When the installation is complete, click OK.

2. Network Settings under 2.WIN98

In win98 interface, right-click Online Neighbors, and in the displayed drop-down menu, left-click Properties.

Next, the network dialog box will pop up, and the network card and the TCP/IP protocol associated with the network card will be displayed in the network settings installed on the configuration page. Double-click this TCP/IP protocol to enter its property boundary.

Note: Do not set other TCP/IP protocols, otherwise the system will not be able to log on to the network.

In TCP/IP properties, IP, gateway and DNS configuration should be set separately. Please fill in the information in the user data card, and then select OK.

Note: After filling in the gateway and DNS, don't forget to click "Add". The "host" in the DNS page can be filled in at will, and the "domain" is not required.
