I. Institutions and principles
In order to strengthen the organization and leadership, our school has set up a leading group for the enrollment of the Strong Foundation Program, and the Peking University Admissions Office is responsible for organizing and implementing the specific work.
Our school will adhere to the principle of "fairness, justice and openness", strictly follow the procedures, select the best candidates, and emphasize quality and light weight.
Second, enrollment targets and registration conditions
Students from all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) who meet the requirements of the national unified entrance examination for ordinary colleges and universities in 2020, are interested in serving the country's major strategic needs, and have excellent comprehensive quality or top-notch basic disciplines can apply.
The enrollment object shall meet one of the following conditions:
1. Candidates' college entrance examination scores have reached the minimum control scores for a batch of undergraduate admission in the province where they are located (the provinces with combined admission batches are subject to the lottery scores of each province), and the college entrance examination scores have reached the finalist standards of our strong foundation plan in this province.
2. Candidates who have won the second prize (inclusive) or above in the national finals of the Olympic Games for Middle School Students in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Informatics in China, whose college entrance examination scores have reached the minimum control score line for a batch of undergraduate students in the province where they are located (the provinces with merged admission batches shall be subject to the score line delineated by each province), can be shortlisted for the examination of the strong foundation plan in the corresponding province.

2. The enrollment plan is based on the enrollment system of our school's strong foundation plan.
3. Candidates can only choose one professional group to apply for the exam, and each professional group has a separate plan, and it is queued for shortlisting and admission. The medical group was admitted with the admission code of Peking University Medical Center.
4. The comprehensive reform of college entrance examination candidates in the province must meet the professional requirements of the selected subjects.
5. Science and engineering candidates in traditional college entrance examination provinces are only allowed to apply for the first class and medical class, while literature and history candidates are only allowed to apply for the second class.
Four. Registration method and selection procedure
(1) Time and method of registration
From May 10 to May 3 1, candidates can log on to the registration platform of Peking University Qiangji Program (website:/jcxkzs/sch/10001) and complete online registration accurately and completely as required. Candidates who apply for our strong foundation program cannot apply for strong foundation programs of other universities at the same time.

Before July 26th, on the minimum control score line of a batch of undergraduate admission in each province (the score line drawn by each province shall prevail in the provinces where the admission batch is merged), according to the order from high to low of the college entrance examination scores (excluding any extra points, the same below) of the candidates who applied for the strong foundation plan, the list of candidates who entered the examination in each province shall be determined according to five times the number of enrollment plans of the strong foundation plan in each province (the final score is the same as that of the finalists), and the finalists shall be publicized.
Candidates who have won the second prize (including) in the national finals of the Olympic Games for Middle School Students in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Informatics, and applied for the strong foundation plan according to the exception, can be shortlisted for the assessment of the strong foundation plan in the corresponding provinces if their college entrance examination scores reach the minimum control scores of a batch of undergraduate courses in the provinces where they are located (the provinces with merged admission batches are subject to the lottery scores of the provinces). Candidates who are short-listed by the results of the college entrance examination are not included in the candidate plan, and those who are short-listed and finally accepted are not included in the announced enrollment plan of the strong foundation plan.
(4) Inspection and testing
Our school will test the finalists from July 28th to August 4th. The specific arrangement is subject to the notice in the online registration system.
1. Subject basic quality test: traditional college entrance examination provinces: group I and medical group test content of mathematics, physics and chemistry, and group II test content of Chinese, history and politics; Provinces that have comprehensively reformed the college entrance examination: the first group and the medical group test content is mathematics and physics, and the second group test content is Chinese and history.
2. Comprehensive quality evaluation: Our school will conduct a comprehensive and in-depth evaluation of students' comprehensive quality, and verify the candidates' comprehensive quality materials through interviews.
3. Physical Education Test: Our school will organize physical education tests for the short-listed candidates, including: height and body mass index, vital capacity, sitting forward, standing long jump and sit-ups. Those who have excellent results in sports tests will be given priority under the same conditions.
4. For the short-listed candidates, our school will conduct a separate assessment according to their academic specialties.
(5) Admission method
1. Conversion method of comprehensive score
Comprehensive score of strong foundation plan 100. Among them, the college entrance examination score (converted into a hundred percent system) accounts for 85% of the comprehensive score; The examination results organized by our school (that is, the basic quality test+comprehensive quality test) account for 15% of the comprehensive results.
2. Determine the admission list
According to the number of enrollment plans of each professional group in each province, the pre-admission list is determined according to the comprehensive scores from high to low. According to the candidates' comprehensive scores and professional aspirations, professional admission is carried out. Candidates with the same comprehensive scores are sorted according to individual order and score. The order of individual items is: college entrance examination results, total school examination results, basic quality test results of disciplines, and comprehensive quality evaluation.
When the comprehensive scores of the short-listed candidates reach the minimum comprehensive scores of the non-short-listed candidates in the corresponding professional group's strong foundation plan in the province, our school will admit them (not accounting for the enrollment plan of the strong foundation plan announced by the province), and make professional admissions according to their competition scores, comprehensive scores, professional volunteers and other factors.
After the pre-admission list of strong foundation plan is examined and approved by the leading group of strong foundation plan enrollment in our school, it will be submitted to the provincial admissions office for examination and admission procedures.
Our school will announce the admission results and admission standards before August 5. Candidates who are officially admitted will no longer participate in the voluntary admission of the follow-up college entrance examination in this province (autonomous region or municipality); Candidates who have not been admitted can normally participate in the voluntary admission of subsequent batches in this province (autonomous regions and municipalities).

In order to thoroughly implement the major strategic deployment of the Party and the state on the reform of the examination enrollment system, implement the opinions of the Ministry of Education on carrying out the pilot reform of enrollment in basic disciplines, and based on the long-term profound accumulation and rich experience in the training of talents in basic disciplines, Peking University will implement the "Deepening the Training Plan for Talents in Basic Subjects", carry out the pilot work of "Boya Schools", and make overall plans to promote the whole process of training talents in Selected Graduates.
Peking University's strong foundation plan pays attention to the organic unity of student growth, national talent selection and social equity. For the admission of candidates, we should formulate a targeted management plan, improve the training mode of postgraduate and doctoral studies, and cultivate top-notch innovative talents with excellent comprehensive quality who are interested in basic subject research, or engaged in key fields such as high-end chips and software, intelligent technology, new materials, advanced manufacturing, national security, and humanities and social sciences, where national talents are in short supply.
1. Implement flexible and personalized training plan. The department will combine the professional training objectives, concise the core curriculum system, and formulate a teaching plan and training plan with both foundation and personality for students selected by the strong foundation plan. On the one hand, it will strengthen the cultivation concept of professional foundation, on the other hand, it will give students more space and development support for choosing courses independently. Build a strategic platform for in-depth cooperation with other universities and research institutes, formulate special policies to encourage students to take elective courses across disciplines, majors, stages and schools, and improve students' ability to blend disciplines.
2. Adopt diversified teaching methods and create a multi-level teaching platform. Promote the change of teaching methods through large class teaching and small class discussion. Make full use of new teaching forms and methods such as flipping the classroom, independent discussion, small class, research-based teaching and practical teaching, strengthen teacher-student interaction, broaden students' horizons, expand students' knowledge, guide students to understand academic frontier issues, and cultivate students' ability of independent learning and lifelong learning.
3. Fully implement the tutorial system. Top scholars such as academicians, lecturers and Xie Qing are arranged as tutors and class teachers to teach students, and the tutorial system of "1+X" is implemented. Each student is equipped with a professional tutor and a number of interdisciplinary tutors to provide guidance, guidance and help in curriculum study, scientific research, career planning, ideological and political education, quality education, mental health and other aspects, forming a comprehensive training and comprehensive success model.
4. Encourage students to participate in scientific research and strengthen the cultivation of innovation and practical ability. Relying on scientific research advantages to cultivate high-quality research-oriented talents, provide high-level scientific research platforms and exchange opportunities for outstanding students who are interested in scientific research, encourage teachers to integrate the latest scientific research achievements and development directions in this field into undergraduate teaching, encourage students to actively apply for undergraduate scientific research projects and receive complete scientific research training, and provide a platform for interdisciplinary learning and research while consolidating the foundation of this discipline, so as to further cultivate students' academic ability and innovative consciousness.
5. Carry out multi-channel international exchanges. Encourage and support students to participate in academic conferences, long-term or short-term international exchange projects, international professional competitions and other exchange activities, so that students can get in touch with the forefront of world scientific and cultural research, integrate into world-class academic groups, expand international horizons, and promote the integrated development of students' knowledge innovation and scientific and technological innovation.
6. Implement all-round quality training. It is necessary to integrate teaching and scientific research, adhere to practical education, guide students to closely integrate economic and social development and changes with real life, realize the integration of knowledge and practice, and cultivate innovative talents in basic disciplines with scientific spirit, scientific methods, scientific knowledge and scientific ability and interdisciplinary talents who can firmly participate in the construction of major strategic development fields of the country in the future.

Other explanations of intransitive verbs
(1) Candidates who forge comprehensive quality materials or cheat in the examination of our school will be disqualified from registration, examination and admission of the strong foundation plan, and the relevant situation will be notified to the relevant provincial entrance examination institutions or education administrative departments, and the relevant departments will handle it according to regulations.
(2) If the enrollment major involves multiple training units, our school will determine which training unit to enter according to the candidates' intentions and test conditions.
(3) The enrollment and training of the strong foundation plan shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant policies of the Ministry of Education. In case of policy adjustment of the Ministry of Education, the new policy shall prevail.
(four) students admitted through the strong foundation program are not allowed to change majors in principle after entering school.
(5) During the selection test, candidates should pay for their own transportation and accommodation. Candidates with financial difficulties who are short-listed for the examination of our school can apply to our school, and our school can provide travel expenses and accommodation subsidies as appropriate.
(6) The school has not entrusted any individual or intermediary agency to carry out the enrollment related work of the strong foundation plan examination, and does not hold any form of remedial classes.
