At present, the main railway passages in northern Guangxi include Liu Heng Railway (express railway, which was put into operation in June of October13 and has set up a station in Qiyang, namely Qiyang Station), Liunan Passenger Dedicated Line (intercity railway) and Gui Xiang Railway. These three railways were built earlier and the design speed level was relatively low, which greatly restricted the train running speed and line speed increase. The distance from Nanning East to Hengyang East is more than 600 kilometers, and the EMU needs to run for about 5 hours. In addition, some sections of Liu Heng Railway and Gui Xiang Railway not only slow down the driving speed, but also affect the driving safety.
The low speed and low efficiency of these three railways have seriously restricted the communication between Guangxi and southern Hunan, so it is necessary to build a new Nanning-Hengyang high-speed railway (with a design speed of 350km/h).
Direction of Nanheng High-speed Railway and Station Setting
According to the information released by the pre-feasibility study review meeting of Nanheng High-speed Railway, it is clear that Nanheng High-speed Railway passes through Hengyang City, Yongzhou City, Guilin City, Liuzhou City, Laibin City and Nanning City in Hunan Province, with a total length of 669.92KM. Because it is necessary to transit Yongzhou to Hengyang, Nanheng High-speed Railway is bound to transit Qiyang and may set up a station in Qiyang.

20 19-2023 tender announcement for preliminary work (Phase II) of Guangxi expressway planning project, involving 16 expressway project, with a total construction mileage of about 1367 km and an investment scale of about142 billion yuan. According to the geographical distribution of the project, the project subject to tender is divided into 8 blocks, and the average construction mileage of each block is about 177 km.
The content of this tender is the original 16-20 section of the expressway project planned to be implemented in 20 19-2023 in Guangxi Expressway Network Planning (20 18-2030), which will be implemented in 20 19-2023.
The preliminary work of this bidding project includes engineering feasibility study and preliminary special research, preliminary survey and design, survey supervision and technical consulting services.
In the bidding project of 16 expressway, seven expressway projects, including Luocheng-Yizhou Expressway, Yizhou-Zhi Lin Expressway, Nanning North First Ring Road-Zhi Lin Expressway, Bobai-Gaozhou Expressway (Guangxi section), Pingxiang-Dongxing Expressway (border passage), Nanning-Beihai Expressway and Xingyi-Guangnan Expressway (Guangxi section), have been included in the Guangxi foundation previously issued by the Transportation Department of the autonomous region.
Among them, Nanning North First Ring Road has two-way four lanes to Shanglin Expressway, passing through Xingning District and Shanglin County. It is planned to start construction in 2022 and be completed in 2026. Yizhou-Shanglin Expressway is about118km long, with four lanes in both directions, passing through Yizhou District, Shanglin County and Xincheng County. It is planned to start construction on 202 1 and complete it in 2025.
Nanning-Beihai Expressway has four lanes in both directions, passing through Yongning District, Hepu County, Qinbei District and Qinnan District. It is planned to start construction in 2022 and be completed in 2026. At present, driving from Nanning to Beihai usually takes the Blue Ocean Expressway, which takes about 3 hours. After the completion of the new Nanning-Beihai Expressway, a new convenient expressway will be added between the two places with shorter mileage. It is estimated that it takes less than two hours to drive one way, and it will be more convenient for Nanning people to drive to the seaside to catch the sea and eat seafood.
