Write in front

The fields that electronic information can choose are semiconductor industry, telecom operation, communication equipment manufacturing, sensor manufacturing, display manufacturing, drone manufacturing and so on.

About thirty years ago, the world began to enter the era of information globalization, and various electronic products were rapidly popularized. From developed countries to developing countries with labor-intensive industries, there are different kinds of electronic industries.

But it is not limited to companies in the electronics industry. As long as an enterprise needs to use electronic products in production, then the enterprise needs graduates majoring in electronic information.

This issue mainly introduces some enterprises related to electronic information.

First, the semiconductor industry. This industry is one of the more suitable employment directions for electronics majors. The manufacturing process of semiconductor is very precise, which can be regarded as printing a circuit that can record the whole library on a 25-square-centimeter circuit board. This requires a very high level of processing. Therefore, semiconductor chips are products that only a few countries and regions can produce, and it has a huge market demand.

The whole industrial chain of semiconductor enterprises consists of three main links: IC (integrated circuit) design, chip manufacturing and packaging testing. The following is the ranking of global semiconductor companies in terms of profit and manufacturing level.

As can be seen from the table, there are many excellent semiconductor enterprises in Taiwan Province Province. Chinese mainland enterprises do better in packaging and testing in the global semiconductor industry. Packaging refers to the process of assembling an integrated circuit into the final product of a chip. Testing refers to the process of confirming the structure and electrical function of the manufactured semiconductor components to ensure that the semiconductor components meet the requirements of the system. But the profit of this link is not high compared with the first two.

TSMC, whose full name is Taiwan Province Integrated Circuit Manufacturing Co., Ltd., is the best chip manufacturer in the world at present. TSMC is a Taiwan-funded enterprise. It does not produce its own products, but only manufactures products for semiconductor design companies. On March 20th, 20 17, TSMC surpassed Intel in market value and became the first semiconductor company in the world. In China, apart from Taiwan Province Province, TSMC has its own companies in Shanghai and South Kyoto.

For various reasons, enterprises in Taiwan Province Province and mainland China still have strong technical barriers and strict confidentiality agreements. As a pure mainland semiconductor manufacturer, SMIC ranks first. Like TSMC, SMIC is also a wafer foundry solution company, which can provide foundry and technical services for 0.35 micron to 45/40 nanometer chips, belonging to a chip manufacturing enterprise.

But in fact, SMIC and TSMC also have deep roots. Its founder Zhang Rujing is an important partner of TSMC. Later, because TSMC refused to build a factory in Chinese mainland, Zhang Rujing gave up all the shares of TSMC and led more than 400 technicians back to China to establish SMIC. SMIC Huawei Hisilicon has a close cooperative relationship. Huawei Hisilicon is the best chip design enterprise in China at present.

Followed by the communication industry, the main enterprises are the three major communication operators in China, China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom. There is a saying in China that China Southern Telecom and China Unicom merged into the same company in 2008. Because all three companies are state-owned enterprises, although the wages given are not high, they are definitely above the local average.

Generally speaking, state-owned enterprises have less welfare, but the year-end bonus, five insurances and one gold are paid to employees in full, which means that buying a house locally has greater advantages and higher retirement wages in the future. And the work is relatively stable. These are the advantages of the three major domestic operators. Generally speaking, they are all relatively comfortable jobs.

If you want to pursue higher wages and challenges, you can consider choosing communication equipment manufacturing, such as Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO and other mobile phone manufacturers. Communication equipment manufacturing industry is also one of the industries with special counterparts in telecommunications. Generally speaking, the salaries and benefits given by these well-known manufacturers are also quite good, but the disadvantage is that they often have to work overtime and burn their youth.

Take Huawei as an example. Huawei's R&D post treatment for "985" freshmen can probably reach the annual salary before tax10.5 million yuan. According to statistics, in 20 16 years, Huawei's global revenue reached 521600 million, and the average annual salary of employees was 730,000. Of course, this is the average of all employees, including senior leaders.

In addition, as a large international company, Huawei can provide some international platforms. Employees can gain experience by traveling around the world and sending them abroad, which is a very good learning platform for newcomers. Huawei's shortcomings are also obvious. The pressure of job competition is great, and the work intensity is greater. Huawei works overtime every day, catching up on projects all night, and having meetings on weekends is common.

Even though there are so many shortcomings, the enterprises mentioned above are enterprises that many telecom graduates want to enter.

In addition, telecommunications majors can also choose some corresponding industries. For example, some companies specialize in developing sensors. These industries are far from our daily life, and we may not be familiar with them. The light-controlled street lamps we saw in the corridor are all equipped with light-controlled modules and voice-controlled modules developed by these companies.

These sensors involve the mutual conversion of different signals. Physical information such as decibel of sound, intensity angle of illumination, etc. is converted into a fixed current, which is finally recognized by the computer in digital form. The invention of these sensors is the material basis for the factory to realize automatic control.

In addition to the chip manufacturing enterprises mentioned at the beginning of the article, there are many products in life that will involve the design and development of electronic circuit boards. For example, the monitor manufacturer, the AOC monitor that our computers often use, is one of the main products of TPV Technology Group in Fuzhou, Fujian.

There is also tianma microelectronics in Xiamen, whose monitors are used in many fields, such as smart phones, tablet computers, ultrabooks, cars, medical care, POS machines and so on. Another example is the UAV stabilizer manufacturing industry. China's DJI Group is the world's number one manufacturer of civil UAVs. These enterprises are well-known brands in China and also need a large number of telecom professionals.

Summary of key points:

1. Due to the prosperity and development of electronic information industry, the employment of electronic information talents has penetrated into all walks of life.

2. There are many choices for enterprises specializing in providing telecommunication services, such as semiconductor industry, telecommunication operation, communication equipment manufacturing, sensor manufacturing, display manufacturing, drone manufacturing and so on.

There are many kinds of electronic information enterprises. You can find the corresponding enterprises here, with different efforts and expectations.
