Tianjin wants to travel to Wuzhen. Ask for guidance

1, watch a shadow play

Shadow play, which has been passed down for thousands of years, has now faded out of people's sight and can only be seen occasionally in TV dramas and movies. However, in Wuzhen, there is a shadow play theater every day, waiting for the opening time to arrive at the theater, listening to the lively gongs and drums around the small stage of blue calico, and the lights behind the white screen are bright, and the original black and careless shadow play people suddenly "live".

There are also many plays here, such as the Monkey King borrowing a banana fan, the Monkey King fighting the cow, three invitations, and the cow meeting the princess with an iron fan. They are all sung in the local dialect, which may be difficult to fully understand, but they can still be understood if you listen carefully.

Performance time: 8:50- 1 1:20 every ten minutes.

Venue: Dongzha Hanlindi Shadow Play Hall

Step 2 watch open-air movies

Nowadays, there are few open-air cinemas, especially in cities, and countless cinemas are becoming more and more advanced, making "open-air movies" full of childhood memories a thing of the past. However, if you want nostalgia, you can't go wrong in Wuzhen. There is a shadow play in Dongzha and an open-air movie in Tashi. If the weather permits, at 7: 00 p.m., the trembling lights will hit the mottled walls with ancient movie machines to show the "three wars" (tunnel warfare and mine warfare) that occupy a place in the history of China movies for tourists and residents.

Performance time: 19:00-2 1:00 (weather permitting)

Venue: Tashi Grand Plaza

3. Look for classic scenes in TV series in Sishuinianhua Winery.

It is said that the "Time Back Red Wine Plaza" was invested and built by Huang Lei, and its decoration ideas all came from some classic scenes in the TV series "Time Back". For those who like the TV series "Time flies like water", this is not to be missed.

The overall appearance of the bar is like an old cruise ship, with simple wooden signs hanging on the door. When you walk into the store, you will find many classic scenes in TV series, with blue calico as the prototype decoration and ceiling board in the hall. Sitting in these familiar scenes, listening to the tune of "Time flies like water", drinking a glass of red wine and slowly immersing yourself in thoughts, this is your own "Time flies like water".

4. Have a good cup of coffee in the afternoon.

Time in ancient towns always slows down inadvertently. At this time, the best thing is to have a cup of delicious Italian coffee on a warm afternoon. You can choose an ancient house, sit on a wooden chair and look at the people coming and going in the ancient street by the window. You can also choose outdoor, watch people flow in the water and enjoy your own leisure in the sun.

There are many specialty coffee shops in Wuzhen. You can find someone you love. Here, we recommend a coffee shop named Jingxing Ku. This is a coffee shop converted from Erjin Old Hall. The decoration style is restrained and simple. Outside the coffee shop, there are outdoor seats under Shui Ge's tarpaulin umbrella.

Address: Zhaxi Street 129-30

5. Shopping in Rainbow Street

On the south side of Zhaxi Xicheng in Wuzhen, there is an old street named "Nvhong Street" (read "Female Worker Street" here). This is an old street with a strong tradition of simplicity. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, exquisite embroidery products from Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai gathered here, and embroidery workshops featuring embroidery were formed here, forming a unique "Women's Embroidery Street" in Wuzhen, Zhaxi, which is also the origin of the "Women's Red Street".

Today, Nvhong Street still maintains its original historical features. There are many specialty shops on both sides of the street, including some handicrafts, wood carvings, knitwear, silk products and so on. It's interesting to visit here even if you don't buy anything.

Address: south of the west city of Zhaxi, Wuzhen

6, night tour Tashi

Different from other ancient towns, Zhaxi in Wuzhen is divided into day tickets and night tickets, and visiting Zhaxi at night and during the day is completely different. In particular, I rowed on Wu Peng's boat on the river. There are ancient bridges on the river, and the lights reflect colorful reflections. Looking along the river, the ancient buildings on both sides of the river show a new artistic conception under the colorful lights. The old and the new suddenly enter two ancient towns, one is yesterday's class barge, and the other is today's glory.

Of course, there must be someone who doesn't like this artificial lighting effect. It doesn't matter. Abandon the ship and walk on the old street paved with slate. There is no modern lighting effect in the old street, only dim street lamps can only illuminate the road under your feet, while the deep alleys, either bustling or silent, must come to an end to enjoy.

Opening hours of night tour: 17:30-22:00.

Tickets for night tour: 80 yuan/person.

7. Send a postcard at the old post office

The old post office is located on the banks of Xishi River. Wuzhen Post Office was founded on April 9th in the 29th year of Guangxu reign in Qing Dynasty (1903). It has been preserved to this day and is still open to the outside world after years of baptism. The architectural style of the old post office is completely different from the old wooden house on Zhaxi Street. It is a brick structure building with western-style iron gates. The architectural features of the whole house are a bit of a combination of Chinese and western.

Here you can see many precious cultural relics postal exhibitions. It is a romantic and special way to buy some postcards, stamp them with the postmark of Wuzhen Old Post Office and send them to distant relatives and friends. You can also buy postcards in the ancient town before sending them here.

8. Experience the bar culture of the ancient town

Old Mu is a slow-moving bar, located near the An Baili Tower, the last end of Tashi. The atmosphere is a bit like a bar in Lijiang, with wooden tables and chairs, a location near the river, and a retro atmosphere. In the evening, there are candlelight and singing bands. There is also a swing made of tree trunks in front of the store. Sitting on the swing, drinking a little wine and watching the running water is boring.
