Petrobras announced that it will start exporting crude oil from the offshore oil field in Agba, Nigeria. Marcelo Castillo Dassler, chief representative of Petrobras in Beijing, said in an email to reporters that as of May 2008, Petrobras had exported about120,000 barrels of crude oil to China, with a total value of1200 million US dollars.
