The predecessor of CITIC Jiantou is Huaxia Securities. In 2005, CITIC and CCB jointly invested 4.6 billion yuan to win the troubled Huaxia Securities. At that time, Huaxia securities brokerage business was bigger than CITIC. Later, CITIC and Jianxin Investment renamed Huaxia Securities as CITIC Jiantou.
Huaxia Securities was established in 1992+00, which is an earlier national securities company in China. Since 1995, Huaxia Securities has been in the forefront of the industry in terms of securities trading volume, operating income, total profit and other indicators.
