What material is PTFE?

PTFE is the abbreviation of polytetrafluoroethylene. PTFE microporous membrane produced by special process with PTFE as raw material has a wide range of applications.

1. PTFE clothing film:

It is made of PTFE by special technology and biaxial stretching in our company. The film thickness is 20- 100 μm, and the porosity is above 85%. There are 14 micropores per square centimeter, and the pore size is 0.2-0.3um, which is much larger than the molecular diameter of water vapor (0.0004um) and water molecule (20-200um), so the modified membrane has excellent waterproof and moisture permeability. ? Using the pore-forming characteristics of PTFE plastic resin, the microporous film produced by biaxial stretching method has the characteristics of waterproof, moisture permeability, wind resistance and warmth retention, and after being compounded with other fabrics, it becomes a widely used clothing fabric.

Clothing fabrics made of PTFE film are widely used in sportswear, winter clothes, special clothing such as military, fire protection, public security, medical care, biochemical protection, shoes and hats, gloves, sleeping bags, tents and so on.

2.PTFE air filtration membrane:

It is made of PTFE as raw material and is bi-directionally stretched by our special process. Using the unique characteristics of PTFE film, such as node fiber, smooth surface, chemical resistance, air permeability and impermeability, large air permeability, flame retardant, high temperature resistance, strong acid and alkali resistance, non-toxicity, etc., the filtration efficiency of the product is high, reaching 99.99%, which is close to zero emission. Small running resistance and fast filtering speed; Long service life and reusability, thus reducing operating costs. It is mainly used for flue gas filtration of various industrial furnaces such as chemical industry, steel, metallurgy, carbon black, power generation, cement and garbage incineration.

3. PTFE? Purification filter membrane:

The purification filter membrane is a microporous membrane made of polytetrafluoroethylene, which is expanded and stretched. This kind of membrane is coated on various fabrics and substrates through a special process and becomes a new type of filter material. The membrane has small pore size, uniform distribution and large porosity. It can filter out all dust particles including bacteria while maintaining air circulation, so as to achieve the purpose of purification and ventilation.
