What is ngc rating?

NGC rating is the authoritative coin rating of NGC Coin Company in the United States.

The NGC rating is divided into 0-70 grades and adopts Sheldon 70 standard. The market price of the company's rated coins will be much higher than that of the same unrated coins.

If the coins evaluated by ngc are identified as counterfeit, the company will buy them back in full. 60-70 marks represent the currency in circulation, all of which are high prices. The appraisal certificate may be famous for its exquisiteness, sample currency and relief. If it is counterfeit money, it does not score.

American and world coins submitted for NGC appraisal rating can generally be divided into the following three categories:

Coins are genuine, and they can get numerical grades, and sometimes they can get product titles or other titles. (Most coins submitted to NGC fall into this category. For example, NGC PF 69 Super Cameo or NGC AU 55 falls into this category. )

NGC does not rate or package coins, because they are either forged, their authenticity is in doubt, or they are manually processed. (In addition, NGC will not rate coins with active pollutants such as PVC residues on their surfaces. )

Coins are genuine, but there is something wrong with the surface, so we can't get the numerical grade.
