In 2000, Jardine Matheson was awarded a 265,438+0-year contract by the government to design, build and operate LPG filling stations to support the environmental protection policy of the SAR Government and improve the air quality in the urban areas of Hong Kong. At present, Ego operates five LPG filling stations in Hong Kong, located in Chai Wan, West Kowloon, Mobil, Tuen Mun and Wan Chai, providing 24-hour filling service for 65,438+08,000 taxis and 2,500 minibuses in Hong Kong.

Application of Biogas in Landfill Site

In May, 2007, the biogas application project in the Northeast New Territories Landfill was put into operation, and the treated landfill biogas was transported to Tai Po Gas Plant through underground pipelines as fuel for gas production. The project not only reduces greenhouse gas emissions, but also reduces naphtha consumed in the process of gas production, which is of great benefit to environmental protection.

Aviation kerosene facilities

In 2002, Ego signed a 40-year concession agreement with the Hong Kong Airport Authority to design, build and operate aviation kerosene facilities in Tuen Mun, so as to provide sufficient fuel reserves for the aircraft at the Hong Kong International Airport. Upon completion, the aviation kerosene facility will become the main aviation kerosene logistics base in Hong Kong.
