From passive selection to active selection
Ni Qi graduated from Xiamen University with a bachelor's degree in accounting. After graduation, she joined Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Co., Ltd. as a financial worker. "My MBA is a bit' passive choice'. Because a colleague in the company wants to study and talked to me for a while, my career planning may turn to more macro budgeting, settlement and economic analysis in the future. I feel that it is good to have a master's degree in management, so I am tempted. "
At first, Ni Qi enrolled in Antai College of Economics and Management of Jiaotong University. After the exam, it happened that Vice President Pan Jie of AG made a brief introduction to enrollment. In just a quarter of an hour, "a good teacher" became Ni Qi's deepest memory of AG. It was also at this time that another friend of Ni Qi chatted with her and asked: Since I want to study finance, why don't I choose to study AG directly?
"This friend directly applied for AG. I think it makes sense: management emphasizes practice and can be explored through some experience accumulation and self-learning. Finance is another area. I don't think we should consider the future career transformation. Let's transform from the knowledge system first. "
When Ni Qi filled in her volunteers, there was an extra episode. Recalling the "confusion" of that year, she smiled wryly: "I handed in my volunteer form and thought it was over; On the last day, I accidentally took out a watch from a paper bag, only to find that I staggered the watch and quickly sent the correct watch I just took out. "
Mishit by mistake, twists and turns. On the day of school, Ni Qi finally stepped into Gao Jin, and the dust settled. She gradually "took the initiative" to like this choice: "Jiaotong University is a very open and inclusive place. We communicate with the project team teachers as friends at any time, and there is no sense of distance when dealing with professors. " She vaguely remembers that once a student had doubts about the teaching content of a foreign teacher, he reflected it to the college in the name of the class. Teacher Xu Guodong also specially attended this course, and then made further communication and improvement with the teacher.
"From professors to teachers, they are willing to listen to students' ideas. "Ni Qi said several names in one breath: Teacher Yu Xiaojun, Teacher Zhang Huibing, Teacher Wu ... After graduating for many years, due to the cooperation at work, Ni Qi often met Zhang Zhiyuan Chun." He is very approachable and can talk about many things with each other. This is a process of broadening one's horizons. "Compared with theoretical teaching, Ni Qi pays more attention to methodology teaching:" Good study and good communication are not limited to the classroom. At that time, teachers often told us which web pages had high-value articles, told us where to look and learn the market information we needed-these sharing inspirations were far-reaching, not temporary. "
The first batch of "SAIF alumni"
"When I graduated, I said Jiaotong University, and most people would think that I am Antai. Then I began to say what kind of college AG is ... "Now, Ni Qi doesn't need a long introduction, and AG has become another golden signboard of Jiaotong University. "First, there are more classes and more projects. Second, there are more and more alumni and people who yearn for high gold. " Ni Qi said that she met a pair of friends when she was traveling in Phuket, Thailand last year, only to know that they also wanted to apply for Gaojin. "I've been asking about AG all the way. This casual experience, compared with Gao Jin seven years ago, you will find that today's Gao Jin really achieved geometric multiples of popularity and recognition. "
Behind the growth of AG, it is inseparable from SAIF alumni who have paid silently. 20 13, SAIF Alumni Association was formally established. As the class ambassador, Ni Qi participated in the work of the Alumni Association on behalf of the first MBA class (and the only MBA class at that time), and became a member of the first secretariat of the Alumni Association as the Deputy Secretary-General.
In the early days of its establishment, the Alumni Association faced two major difficulties, one was the urgent need to establish a system, and the other was the shortage of manpower. "Even if it is 20 13, we only have graduates in grades 08, 09 and 10, and the sample of alumni is very small. One person has to do the work of several people. " From the articles of association, activity ceremony to the establishment of specific framework, the process of laying a good foundation is extremely difficult. Amazingly, even in such a busy situation, daily newsletters are produced and distributed, as well as the usual salons, holiday parent-child activities, annual forums and so on. Everything is going on in an orderly way.
Ni Qi compared the work of the Alumni Association to "cooking": "It's not that the college cooked a dish, but that the college and alumni cooked it well together, so the fun was doubled. The core of our responsibility is to spread and let other students know about the changes in the college. Seeing the current alumni association, the whole department system has been modeled, especially many associations have started and formed a relatively benign operation. Seeing that most people will try their best to come back to school, I feel that our efforts have achieved some kind of agglomeration effect, which is very fulfilling! "
