Anhui University of Finance (hereinafter referred to as "An Cai") is located in Bengbu City, Anhui Province. It is a university jointly established by the People's Government of Anhui Province and the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives. It is a national university with basic capacity-building projects in the central and western regions, a high-level characteristic university in Anhui Province and a discipline peak university.

The school was founded in Hefei, Anhui Province,1May, 959, when the school name was Anhui Finance and Trade College. 196 1 moved to Bengbu city, Anhui province. The school is affiliated to the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Domestic Trade. In February, 2000, the State Council decided to set up Anhui Finance and Trade College jointly funded by the central and local governments, with Anhui provincial government as the main management. In May 2004, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was renamed Anhui Finance College.
