China Railway Bridge Bureau is the enterprise that designs and builds the most bridges in the world, and has been leading the development of China's bridge industry. So far, the company has designed and built more than 200 bridges 1300 kilometers at home and abroad, and participated in the construction of railway trunk lines and high-grade highways. A large number of high-quality and famous projects have been built and won a large number of awards, including 26 national scientific and technological progress awards, 60-year-old classic construction projects of New China, 9 national gold and silver awards for high-quality projects, 20 Luban awards for China construction projects, Zhan Tianyou awards, 37 new enterprise records in China and 159 valid patents.
The famous bridges that have been built and are under construction include the four milestones of China highway-rail bridge, namely, Wuhan, Nanjing, Jiujiang and Wuhu Yangtze River Bridge, Wuhan Tianxingzhou Yangtze River Bridge that won the George Richardson International Bridge Award, the world's first six-lane railway bridge, Nanjing Dashengguan Yangtze River Bridge, the longest highway-rail bridge in the world, Zhengzhou Yellow River highway-rail bridge, and the first truly sea-crossing bridge in China. Hangzhou Bay Bridge, the world's longest sea-crossing bridge, Lhasa River Bridge, the landmark project of Qinghai-Tibet Railway, the world's highest railway, Macau Xiwan Bridge and Shenzhen Bay Highway Bridge, the largest bridge in Bangladesh, the world's first three-tower two-kilometer suspension bridge, Taizhou Yangtze River Bridge, and the first bridge at the Yangtze River estuary, Shanghai Yangtze River Tunnel Bridge. The railway passenger dedicated lines built and under construction include Beijing-Tianjin, Wenfu, Wu He, Yongtaiwen, Fuxia and Wu Guang.
