Yunnan Baiyao Factory, formerly known as Yunnan Baiyao Factory, was founded in 197 1 902 by Mr. Qu, a famous Yunnan folk doctor. Yunnan Baiyao Factory, the predecessor of the company, was formally established and began the specialized production of Baiyao.
The company was listed on Shenzhen Stock Exchange on 1993, becoming the first A-share listed company in Yunnan Province. Business involves chemical raw materials, chemical preparations, Chinese patent medicines, Chinese herbal medicines and biological products.
Yunnan Baiyao Group Co., Ltd. is a large industrial and commercial pharmaceutical enterprise in Yunnan and one of the top 50 Chinese patent medicines in China. 1997 was recognized as one of the first 40 large enterprise groups in Yunnan province.
1997 was approved by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, and obtained the import and export right of the enterprise. 1999 was recognized as a high-tech enterprise by Yunnan Science and Technology Commission. 1999 was approved by the Ministry of Personnel to establish Post-Doctoral Research Center. In 2002, it was listed as one of the 10 key pharmaceutical enterprises supported by Yunnan provincial government.
