Brief introduction of Shichang double-track railway
The second line project of Shimen-Changsha Railway, referred to as Shichang Double Line for short, starts from Shimen North Station of Jiao (left) to Liu (Zhou) line in the north, crosses the four rivers of Li, Yuan, Zi and Xiang, connects Changde, Yiyang and Changsha, and connects Laodaohe Station and Xianning Station of Beijing-Guangzhou (Zhou) line in the south, with a total length of 266.72 kilometers, of which Shimen-Yiyang section is connected with Xianning Station. Design a double-track first-class electrified railway with a design speed of 160km/h, with 46 pairs of passenger cars passing through every day and an annual freight design capacity of 88 million tons. The total investment of the project is 654.38+007 million yuan, and the construction period is 3.5 years. 2065.438+0610.6 was completed and opened to traffic. It was jointly built by the Ministry of Railways of China and the Hunan Provincial Government, and managed and operated by Shichang Railway Co., Ltd. The double track of Shichang Railway is a new single-track railway that forms a double track next to the old line, not a new double track.
