AW series sniper rifles originally produced by Ai Company all adopt 7.62mm×5 1 NATO standard bullet caliber, which has been adopted by military and police departments in more than 50 countries around the world. Later, the company developed powerful AWM series sniper rifles with caliber of .300 Winchester Magnum and .338 Rafa Ma Genan. These powerful Ma Genan AWM series sniper rifles were also adopted by the British army in 1997, which were specially used for long-range sniper. Starting from the meaning of AW sniper rifle that fires magnum bullets, it is specially named "AWM", and AWM series sniper rifles also have another name of "Super Magnum SM" sniper rifle.
By 1998, Ai Company had introduced SW sniper rifle with 5.56mm×45 bullet and AW50 long-range sniper rifle with 12.7mm×99 bullet.
While producing the above-mentioned sniper rifles, the company also produced AWS micro-acoustic sniper rifles with silencers and their development models, as well as AW "Covered" and other special sniper rifles with silencers, which can be put into special gun boxes after decomposition.
All kinds of AWM-F sniper rifles have an "-F" shape, so it is possible to fold the back butt to the left side of the gun. The "-F" in the product name comes from the English word "Folding Stock", which means that folding material is used.
Among the newly added products, there are AWP police sniper rifles. Considering that it is mostly used for close-range shooting in street fighting, the gun is specially equipped with a 6 10mm long barrel that attaches importance to carrying performance. In order to obtain maximum hit accuracy with short barrel, 7.62mm×5 1(.308 Winchester) or .243 Winchester bullets are used. Because it is a police model, the letter "P" indicating "police" is added to the product name.
