Mazu, formerly known as Moline, was born in a small fishing village in Meizhou Island, Putian, Fujian during the Northern Song Dynasty. She has been running around the sea all her life, saving lives and saving lives, and sailors respect her as a god. After her death, she still took it as her duty to do good and help the world, saving all the people who were killed in every murder. People finally regarded Mazu as a veritable "goddess of the sea" and enshrined it in Mazu Tempel, Meizhou Island. It is a belief in Poseidon centered on the southeast coast of China, including East Asia, such as the Japanese coastal areas, also known as the goddess of heaven, queen of heaven, queen of heaven and the mother of Meizhou. It is a god believed by boatmen, sailors, tourists, businessmen and fishermen in past dynasties, and currently has 200 million believers.
During the Song and Yuan Dynasties, Quanzhou was one of the largest trading ports in the world. In order to develop maritime trade, the Yuan government introduced Mazu to Quanzhou Port, where overseas transportation and trade were prosperous, and became Quanzhou Poseidon. Due to the development of water transportation and overseas transportation, Mazu became a national sea god and spread overseas. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, a large number of people in Fujian crossed Taiwan Province Province to South Asia to make a living, and Mazu belief spread more widely overseas with the footprints of businessmen and immigrants.
According to friends, there is a famous mountain palace in Gong Hu, Putian, which is dedicated to bodhisattvas. People call it Lord Huang Shuai, and he is the patron saint of Mazu. Grandpa Huang Shuai, surnamed Huang Ming Kong Ying, is from Jishui County, Jiangxi Province. His father is a scholar. He works as a private school teacher in the countryside. Huang Kongying was born in the troubled times of the Southern Song Dynasty. His parents have strict family education, and he often educates future generations with honest local chronicles. From an early age, he was told stories about loyalty to the country and filial piety to his parents and elders, especially Huang Xie, the spring of resisting Qin and saving Chu during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, and Huang Tingjian, one of the 24 filial piety, which had the deepest influence on him.
Therefore, both Mazu and the guardians around him are immortals with identity and traces to follow.
