What is the company law?

Company Law is the abbreviation of People's Republic of China (PRC) Company Law. (199365438+The fifth meeting of the Standing Committee of the Eighth NPC on February 29th was revised for the first time according to the Decision on Amending the Company Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) of the 13th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Eleventh NPC on August 28th, 2004). Article 1 of the Company Law aims at standardizing the organization and behavior of companies, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of companies, shareholders and creditors, maintaining social and economic order and promoting the development of socialist market economy. Article 3 Definition of Company and Shareholders' Liability A company is an enterprise legal person with independent legal person property and legal person property rights. The company is liable for its debts with all its property. Shareholders of a limited liability company are liable to the company; Shareholders of a joint stock limited company are liable to the company.
