Asics (Yasushi) is a Japanese track and field sporting goods manufacturing company, which was founded by Hasilang of Oni Tsuka in 1949 [1] and headquartered in Kobe, Japan. Its main product is sports running shoes, which is the fifth largest sports brand in the world. Originally known as Onitsuka, the company merged with GTO and Jelenk in 1977 and officially changed its name to Asics.
