State-owned investment companies belong to state-owned enterprises. SDIC is a state-owned holding unit. State Development and Investment Group Co., Ltd., referred to as SDIC for short, was established on May 5, 1995. It is an important state-owned backbone enterprise directly managed by the central government, the only investment holding company among the central enterprises, and the first batch of pilot units for the reform of state-owned capital investment companies.
