Is Yuerya Gold Mine in Kuancheng County, Chengde City, Hebei Province a state-owned enterprise?
Hebei Yuerya Gold Mining Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the company) is located in Kuancheng Manchu Autonomous County, Chengde City, Hebei Province. The mining area is 15km away from Qin Cheng Expressway in the north and 135km away from Tangshan Expressway in the south, so the traffic is very convenient. From 1887 (13th year of Guangxu), there has been gold mining in Yuerya, with a history of 100 years. It was once called the "rouge mine" of Empress Dowager Cixi. 1March, 958, the state officially invested in mining. Over the past 50 years, generations of Yuerya people have carried forward the spirit of self-reliance and hard struggle, rebuilt Yuerya Company from the ruins bombed by the Japanese army, and gradually developed from a small mine with an annual output of several hundred taels of gold to a gold enterprise with more than 1800 employees, integrating land exploration, survey, mining, metallurgy, cyanidation and smelting. In June 2000, the company was restructured and joined CICC Gold Co., Ltd., becoming the first batch of wholly-owned subsidiaries of CICC Gold. In 2009, Admiralty Gold invested and reorganized to establish Hebei Yuerya Gold Mining Co., Ltd., which entered a new development process.
