In September 2003, the company acquired five securities business departments of Kaifeng Trust and Investment Company and Sanmenxia Trust and Investment Company 1 company.

From June 5th to February, 2003, the company established eight new securities business departments in Shenzhen, Foshan, Suzhou, Yangzhou, Jiaxing, Fuzhou, Qingdao and Tianjin.

On August 30th, 2007, it passed the evaluation of Standard Securities Company of China Securities Association.

From June, 5438 to February, 2008, Shanghai Far East Securities Co., Ltd. began to absorb and merge according to the approval of China Securities Regulatory Commission's Reply on Agreeing to the Absorption and Merger of New Era Securities Co., Ltd.

In February 2009, the industrial and commercial change registration of Shanghai Far East Securities Co., Ltd. was completed.
