What is the basic situation of Shanghai-Kunming high-speed railway?

Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Railway, also known as Shanghai-Kunming Passenger Dedicated Line, is a cross of "eight vertical and eight horizontal" express passenger passages in the national medium-and long-term railway network planning, and is an east-west railway trunk line starting from Shanghai in the east and reaching Kunming in the west. The Shanghai-Kunming high-speed railway line has a total length of 2,252 kilometers, and the online design speed is 300-350 kilometers per hour.

Shanghai-Kunming high-speed railway consists of Shanghai-Hangzhou passenger dedicated line, Hangzhou-Changzhou passenger dedicated line and Changkun passenger dedicated line, passing through six provincial capitals and municipalities directly under the central government. Shanghai-Kunming high-speed railway is the longest east-west route in China, passing through the most provinces. It is also an important part of the "four vertical and four horizontal" comprehensive transportation corridor and the "four vertical and four horizontal" railway passenger dedicated line network planned by the state.

On the afternoon of June 20 16, the entire Shanghai-Kunming high-speed railway was officially completed. On 20 16 12.28, the Guiyang-Kunming section of Shanghai-Kunming high-speed railway was put into operation, marking the opening of the whole line of the longest east-west high-speed railway in China (the Shanghai-Guiyang section had been opened before). Shanghai-Kunming high-speed railway is divided into Shanghai-Hangzhou section, Hangzhou-Changzhou section and Changkun section.

From Shanghai to Hangzhou, Zhejiang, the total length of the line is 169 km, of which bridge engineering accounts for 87%.

The total length of the line from Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province to Changsha, Hunan Province is 883 kilometers, including 294 kilometers in Zhejiang Province, 506 kilometers in Jiangxi Province and 83 kilometers in Hunan Province.

The total length of the line from Changsha, Hunan to Kunming, Yunnan is1138km, including 408km in Hunan, 544km in Guizhou and188km in Yunnan, with a construction period of 4 years.

The online design speed is 300-350 km/h.
