What is a cross-border industrial park?

Cross-border industrial parks are subject to the bonded zone policy, and goods entering and leaving between People's Republic of China (PRC) and other areas in China (hereinafter referred to as outside the zone) are subject to the export processing zone policy. The main functions of Zhuhai Cross-border Industrial Park are export processing, bonded warehousing logistics and international trade. The main policies of Zhuhai Cross-border Industrial Park are: the import tax policy is the same as that of the bonded area, domestic goods enter the area for tax refund, and no value-added tax and consumption tax are levied on transactions in the area. In addition to the customs, the border guards also manage the people entering and leaving the region because of cross-border (border) conditions.
