Brief introduction of Wuhan Boiler Co., Ltd.

Wuhan Boiler Co., Ltd., formerly known as Wuhan Boiler Factory, was founded in 1954. It was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on 1998 with a registered capital of 297 million yuan. In August 2007, Alstom completed the acquisition of 5 1% state-owned shares in five countries.

The factory of Wuhan Boiler Co., Ltd. will be put into operation in 2009, which will become Alstom's R&D center and export base in the Asia-Pacific region. The plant has the capacity to produce 600 MW supercritical boilers, 1000 MW ultra-supercritical boilers and large circulating fluidized bed boilers, which will play an important role in Alstom's global clean energy strategy.

The new factory of Wuhan Boiler Co., Ltd. is located in Wuhan East Lake Development Zone. The design of the new factory fully takes into account the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions such as carbon dioxide. The construction area of the new factory is 6,543,800+400,000 square meters, including 6,000 square meters of R&D center. By using Alstom's advanced technology, Wuhan Boiler Co., Ltd. will actively respond to the increasing demand for boilers in China market, and at the same time solve environmental problems, especially reducing emissions and improving the efficiency of power plants.
