Ningbo Port Beilun Phase IV Container Terminal (hereinafter referred to as "Phase IV Terminal") now has four modern container berths (length1.400m), equipped with 16 bridge cranes, 40 gantry cranes and corresponding storage yards. At present, the company has 497 registered employees, including nearly 1 000 migrant workers. It is composed of Ningbo Port Machinery Terminal Management Co., Ltd., a joint venture between Ningbo Port Group and Mediterranean (Asia Terminal) Company, and Ningbo Yining Terminal Management Co., Ltd., a joint venture between Ningbo Port Group and Italian Post (China Hongkong) Company. In terms of operation and management, the separation of ownership and management rights has been realized, that is, a management team is responsible for the daily operation and management of the joint venture company, which is a brand-new attempt of modern enterprise system in terminal operation.
