Among them, Zhao was suspected of taking bribes with Qiu Chunli totaling RMB 3.6 million. In the indictment of the prosecution, 24 facts that Qiu Chunli was suspected of accepting bribes were listed.
Among them, the largest amount of bribes was 2.7 million yuan. The prosecution alleged that from 2003 to 2007, Qiu Chunli provided assistance to Beijing Construction Co., Ltd., Beijing Yingyuyuan Industry and Trade Company and Beijing Ganyancheng Real Estate Development Company with Yu as the legal representative in matters such as upgrading enterprise qualifications, undertaking construction projects, developing small property houses and purchasing enterprise land. To this end, Qiu Chunli, together with his wife Zhao and his younger brother Qiu, asked for or accepted bribes of RMB 2.4 million and a Toyota Camry car worth RMB 300,000.
In addition, from 1998 to 2004, Qiu Chunli also provided assistance to Beijing Shen Gong Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., with Liu Bao Huawei as the legal representative, in matters such as upgrading the construction qualification and undertaking construction projects. As a "reward", Qiu Chunli accepted two houses (worth 6.5438+0.86 million yuan) and 500,000 yuan from Liu Baohua. On June 5438+ 10, 2004, Qiu Chunli and his wife also received RMB 900,000 from Liu Baohua. As the director of the Construction Committee, Qiu Chunli naturally receives money from developers. According to the litigation materials, Qiu Chunli received many benefits from real estate developers during his tenure as the director of Tongzhou District Construction Committee, providing help for real estate projects in Mao Jing International Apartment, Xinhualian Home, Barker Apartment, Wuyi Garden, Tongxin Home, Sunny Day and Waterfront Bridge. More than 10 real estate enterprises that developed the above property all appeared in the indictment.
For example, from 1994 to 2006, Beijing Liyuan Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., with Huang Hainian as the legal representative, provided assistance in matters such as enterprise qualification upgrading and development of Barker apartment project, and successively received RMB 92,000 and Canadian dollar 100 from Huang, and bought houses at prices significantly lower than the market. After identification, the difference is more than 280,000 yuan.
1995 to 2003, Qiu Chunli helped Beijing Xinhualian Group to develop Xinhualian Home Project and upgrade its enterprise qualification, and received RMB 10000, US$ 25,000, HK$ 30,000 and Malaysian ringgit 10000.
From 2003 to 2008, Qiu Chunli provided assistance for the development of the Sunshine Project and received US$ 50,000 and RMB 50,000 from Beijing Yang Xinyu Real Estate Development Company. On July 29, 2009, Qiu Chunli was criminally detained by the police on suspicion of accepting bribes. Two days later, his wife was arrested and brought to justice.
