The history of Kuwait Airways

The company was conceived by two Kuwaiti businessmen in February 1953 and established in March 1954. 1954 March 16 became the national airline of Kuwait. The present name was established in 1958, and a modern fleet was established. In the 1970s, the company further expanded its routes, including the Middle East.

Due to the invasion of other countries in the Gulf War, many planes of this airline had to leave to a great extent. During the occupation, the enterprise was transferred to Bahrain.
