In view of the long-standing outstanding problem of backward urban underground infrastructure, experts suggest that we should learn from international advanced experience and build underground common trenches in cities for centralized laying of municipal pipelines such as electricity, communication, radio and television, water supply and drainage, heat and gas, and gradually eliminate the problems such as "road zipper".

After winning the task of underground pipeline construction through bidding, construction units often purchase cheap and inferior pipelines in order to reduce costs and obtain profits. This practice of "bad money driving out good money" keeps the urban underground pipe network "weak and pressureless" again and again, and floods in case of rain and pollution disasters have become "urban diseases" in many places. Last August, the Ministry of Construction issued a document to implement the lifelong accountability system for engineering quality, which will implement lifelong accountability for the responsible units and persons who manufacture, sell and purchase fake and shoddy pipelines, which will bring new opportunities to manufacturers and service providers of leak-free drainage pipeline systems.
