At the meeting, Zhang Xiao gave a speech entitled "1the current research situation of China's science and technology ethics since 1980s: history, topics and problems". This paper reviews the research situation of science and technology ethics in China since 1980s, and puts forward a set of "technology-ethics" framework to understand and deal with contemporary science and technology ethics issues with the theme of "self-confidence framework to understand and deal with ethical issues of technology development" and the eight self-cultivation goals of "university" as the starting point. With the title "From Competition to Cooperation: Medical Practice in China", Li Yun analyzed the special historical background of medical practice in China from the change of the relationship between Chinese and Western medicine, and put forward that medical practice must be based on specific conditions, patient-centered, and assume the role of a communicator between nature and society, and between doctors and patients. The topic of Cui Shuzhi's speech is "Neo-Confucian Thoughts on Ethics of Science and Technology". Focusing on the ethics of science and technology of Mou Zongsan, a representative of modern Neo-Confucianism, Cui Shuzhi examines scientific and technological problems from a different perspective from the West and puts forward new methods to deal with practical problems. Finally, NPC scholars accepted active questions from Chinese and foreign participants at the scene. Due to time constraints, the discussion continued until after the meeting.
