Who is advocating the "artisan spirit" in the West?

Wu Minghua, the "Chief Technician" of China Arts and Crafts, also serves as the equipment consultant of seven companies.

Wu Minghua has won many honors such as excellent high-skilled talents in Taicang, high-skilled backbone talents in Suzhou, and chief technician of Suzhou enterprises. He restored a set of "foreign garbage" to the most advanced equipment at that time, won a suite by overcoming a technical problem, worked as equipment consultant for seven companies with outstanding technology ... and there are many stories about Wu Minghua. Wu Minghua said that he only has this skill because he works hard and likes to study hard.

Let "foreign garbage" be reborn

1979, Wu Minghua graduated from high school and worked as a worker in the second cotton mill. At that time, high school students were highly valued. He was sent by the factory to the 14th cotton mill in Shanghai to study machine maintenance technology. Wu Minghua said that the training of technicians in state-owned factories at that time was very strict, and one year's study laid a solid foundation for him.

In addition to a solid foundation, Wu Minghua also loves to study hard and works hard and persistently. Ordinary young mechanics, once the machine can't be repaired properly, immediately look for an old master. As long as it doesn't affect production, Wu Minghua usually studies it again and again by himself. Many mechanics leave the equipment alone after it has been repaired, but Wu Minghua will ask the operators later how the equipment works, whether it is different from that before it is repaired, and whether there is any room for improvement. He has never been bothered by this and has accumulated rich experience from it.

A few years later, Wu Minghua became the technical backbone of the factory. 1987, No.2 Cotton Factory made great efforts to introduce a machine from England, and there were only three machines in China at that time. Wu Minghua was sent to Shenzhen to receive it. The result was a big surprise. It turns out that there are three pieces of equipment eliminated by British enterprises, not only without drawings, but also "simply falling apart, and many parts have fallen into the chassis, and I don't know the installation location at all."

The factory gave Wu Minghua the task of repairing the machine. With excellent technology and a month's hard work, he managed to repair the machine. "Although it was eliminated by others, it was indeed advanced in China at that time."

Replace the motor with a brush.

Another "legendary" story of Wu Minghua in the Second Cotton Mill is winning a suite. At the end of 1990s, Shanghai Three Guns Group was particularly famous, and many cotton mills wanted to be its suppliers. However, the technical requirements of the three guns are particularly high, and the fabrics produced by the company meet the requirements to get the order.

Wu Minghua began to tackle key problems again. Finally, in two months, the accuracy of a process was adjusted from 8 threads in the national standard to 3 threads. The second cotton mill finally became a supplier of three guns. Because of his great contribution, the factory rewarded him with a house of more than 1 10 square meters.

With the development of economy and society, the second cotton mill has also become history. However, Wu Minghua has solved many problems for many enterprises with his excellent technology, which has been recognized and respected by everyone.

Now Wu Minghua is the equipment director of VIAP New Materials Company, but he still loves research. For example, the company's original bag-making equipment frequently breaks bags. Through research, Wu Minghua added a device to these two sets of equipment, which solved this problem.

The company is very busy with production this year. Once, an American-made cutting machine broke down, and the factory sent someone to check it, saying that two motors would be replaced. There are only three such cutting machine companies. Stopping production of one machine means that the output of the whole plant is reduced by one third. It will cost more than 30,000 yuan to replace the motor, and it will also affect the delivery of the order when the motor arrives and another technician comes to the door. Although this kind of motor has never been repaired before, Wu Minghua's persistent research power has come up again. He decided to repair it himself first. After careful study and analysis of the machine, he found the cause of the failure, and finally solved the problem only by replacing the brush in the motor.
