The earliest recorded video game was born in 1952, that is, TIC-tac-toe game, running on a vacuum tube computer. Electronic games were introduced as commercial entertainment media in1970s, and became the basis of important entertainment industries in Japan, America and Europe in the late1970s. 1983 during the depression of American game industry and two years after its rebirth, the electronic game industry experienced more than 20 years of growth, competing with the film industry to become the most profitable entertainment industry in the world. In the early days of video games, mainframe computing, graphics performance and main storage media were the standards for generations. On average, about one generation lasts five to six years. The performance of game consoles varies greatly from generation to generation.
