1July, 1998, Jihua as a whole (including Jihua Group Company and Jilin Chemical Co., Ltd.) was included in China Oil and Gas Group Company. At the end of 1999, seven enterprises, including phthalic anhydride, phenol acetone, ethylene glycol, ABS, polyethylene, ethanolamine, AES, measurement center and pressure inspection center, were incorporated into CNPC to form PetroChina Jilin Petrochemical Company. And transfer the equity of Jilin Chemical Co., Ltd. held by Jihua Group Company to CNPC. Jihua Group Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Petroleum and Natural Gas Group Company.
So far, Jihua has formed a three-legged structure as a whole, namely, Jihua Group, Jilin Petrochemical Company and Jilin Chemical Co., Ltd. ..
