Brief introduction of Linxihe Hydropower Station

Linxihe Hydropower Station is located on the Laishui River at the junction of Hefeng County, Hubei Province and Sangzhi County, Hunan Province. It is the last cascade hydropower station planned above Linxi River in Laishui main stream. Linxihe Hydropower Station has a designed control basin area of 2,286 square kilometers, a normal water level of 293m, a total storage capacity of 79.24 million cubic meters and a regulating storage capacity of 5.4 million cubic meters, which is a daily regulating reservoir.
