Although the epidemic has been under control for more than two years, it has to be said that the impact of the epidemic on the whole social economy still exists. For example, many small and medium-sized companies in the education and training industry failed to survive last year, and closures and mergers and acquisitions are more common. Some small and medium-sized industries are affected by the epidemic, resulting in fluctuations in the number of jobs. In fact, at the end of last year, many large Internet companies had contracted or even stopped recruiting. The recruitment demand of enterprises has decreased, but the job demand of fresh graduates has not decreased, but has shown a gradual increase trend. Since there are more monks than meat, it is quite normal for college students to find jobs.
Competitive pressure from previous graduates and overseas students
In order to understand the employment situation of this year's graduates, some people have investigated several young people who have just entered the senior year. Their views are very rational, because some of the seniors who graduated from the last session have not done their jobs well, and they are all waiting to participate in this year's school recruitment and compete with the younger generation. Of course, the employment pressure is very great. Also affected by the epidemic, many international students did not study abroad this year, or simply returned to China for employment near graduation, which will also aggravate the competitive pressure in the fresh graduates market. Previous students and overseas students often have some internship or work advantages, while the latter naturally has the advantage of international education background, which will naturally affect the employment market of fresh graduates.
College students are ambitious.
Another internal factor that makes it difficult for college students to find jobs is their ambitious mentality. During the interview, I asked this question: "What is your future career plan?" Some young people will set their eyes high. They not only hope to get a high-paying offer, but also expect the company to have a large platform, rapid development, human touch, less overtime and it is best to provide accommodation. However, enterprises that can meet these conditions in the real workplace are really rare. Suppose you are not the best among so many graduates, and your ability is not enough, but your conditions are so high, it is of course difficult for enterprises to accept such job seekers.
