Harbin Beer Harbin Beer started at 1900 and was founded by Russian businessman Ulub levski. It is the oldest beer brand in China. Anheuser-Busch (AB) Company 1993 acquired 5% equity of Tsingtao Brewery, and 1995 established Budweiser (Wuhan) International Brewery Co., Ltd. In 2004, Harbin Beer Day Co., Ltd. was acquired by AB Company and became its wholly-owned subsidiary. After a century of development, Harbin Beer Group has been called the fifth largest beer brewing enterprise in China. As the market leader in Northeast China, Harbin Beer Group has a market share of about 66% in Harbin and 5% in China. In 2002, Harbin Beer Group became the first Heilongjiang enterprise to win the title of "China Famous Brand Product Manufacturer".
