HSN70- 1A What is this material?

The solubility of tin in copper varies greatly in brass. When zinc in copper increases from zero to about 38%, its solubility in α phase decreases from about 15% to about 0.7%. The solubility of tin in zinc-saturated α solid solution is very small, but when the zinc content increases to β phase, the solubility of tin increases again. Dissolving a small amount of tin in brass can improve the strength and hardness of the alloy, but when it exceeds 1~5%, it will reduce the plasticity of the alloy. The main function of tin in brass is to inhibit dezincification of brass and improve its corrosion resistance. Tin brass has good corrosion resistance in seawater, so it is called "sea brass".

HSn70- 1 has good corrosion resistance, excellent cold and hot workability, hot extrusion and high strength.

The hot working of HSn70- 1 is easy to crack, so it is necessary to strictly control the impurity content, take the upper limit of copper and take the tin off the assembly line, so as to achieve good results in hot bonding or hot extrusion.
