Appreciation of the Works of Indonesian Architecture Firm: Isi Villa in Bali

Indonesian architectural firm budi pradono architects recently completed the design of issi Villa in seminyak, Bali. Architects combine the traditional residential style and modern style of Bali into a striking building. The base of the building is divided into nine areas. The architect takes "Asan Datura" (the "map of the universe in the mind" when local monks practice the secret method daily) as the main design concept, and plans the plane around the outdoor central courtyard. The architect built a pool in the outdoor central courtyard design as the central benchmark of the whole base, and arranged the indoor and outdoor spatial relationship on this basis. The kitchen is arranged at the main entrance, because there is a fire element representing the Brahma God in the kitchen, which can ward off evil spirits.

In order to connect with the local cultural ceremony, the architect designed the internal traffic sequence, which led to the overpass on the upper floor and became the second courtyard space in the whole building.

Architects use local unique materials,

Including volcanic rocks, granite and sandstone, to unify the overall style of the building. In addition, recycled ironwood and teak are also used as platform and ground materials. The metal panel with tree pattern wraps the first floor building, which provides a certain degree of privacy for the interior and creates a unique light and shadow effect with the change of the day.
