The difference between going concern and legal existence

The so-called continuous operation means that the business activities of an accounting entity will continue indefinitely, and in the foreseeable future, the accounting entity will not suffer liquidation, dissolution and other changes and cease to exist.

The premise of going concern requires that enterprises should conduct financial accounting on the premise of normal business activities, and the assets owned by enterprises should be consumed, sold, transferred and depreciated. According to the predetermined goal, all kinds of debts undertaken by enterprises should also be repaid as scheduled as planned.

Legal existence includes the following meanings:

1. Enterprises are in China, including enterprises of various ownership in China, and of course, foreign-funded enterprises in China;

2. The enterprise is legally registered and operated in the industrial and commercial department. Exclude those so-called "black enterprises" that are not registered, and also exclude those enterprises whose licenses have been revoked by the industrial and commercial departments.

3. Enterprises that exist now in reality do not include enterprises that have gone bankrupt and enterprises that will be run in the future;

This enterprise is a legal person enterprise, excluding some unincorporated enterprises, such as partnerships.
