Yunnan National Defense Industry Vocational and Technical College is a full-time general public higher vocational and technical college approved by the Yunnan Provincial People's Government, which was merged from Yunnan National Defense Industry School, Yunnan National Defense Technical School and Yunnan Ordnance Workers College (including Yunnan Yi Xi Co., Ltd.) on July/Kloc-0, 2004, to train advanced applied skilled personnel to meet the needs of manufacturing, electronic information and other industries.
In July 2009, the People's Government of Yunnan Province approved the merger of Yunnan Radio and TV University and Yunnan National Defense Industry Vocational and Technical College, and implemented the operation mechanism of two brands, one team and one legal person. 201212 On 2 6 February, the Ministry of Education approved the renaming of Yunnan Radio and TV University as Yunnan Open University.
On February 28th of the same year, 65438+ Yunnan Open University and Yunnan Credit Bank were unveiled, becoming one of the six universities in China and the only open university in central and western China. The school headquarters has four campuses: Chenggong, Xuefu, 12 1 and Haikou.
