New Guangdong Museum
The new Guangdong Provincial Museum was officially opened to the public free of charge on May 8, 20 10. The scale of the new building is 4 1027 square meters, with a total construction area of 63 128 square meters. Construction investment: 900 million yuan. New library environment: Guangzhou Opera House and Guangzhou Second Children's Palace in the west, the new Guangzhou Library in the north and beautiful scenery in the south. Beautiful environment and convenient transportation. Architectural structure: The new building has novel structure and unique design. It adopts a giant truss suspension structure system. The reinforced concrete shear wall is arranged around the square with a middle length of 67.5 meters. Eight large space steel trusses with a span of 67.5 meters and a height of 6.5 meters are arranged at the upper end of the shear wall. Four sealing trusses are arranged along the outer ends of the cantilever trusses, and a 6-meter-long box steel suspender extends under the sealing trusses. This kind of suspension structure system is rare in China, and there are only a few cases abroad, such as BMW in Germany and Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation. Architectural style: The logo is based on the design principle of "rooted in Guangdong, symbolizing the rich, embodying the museum and absorbing the Tibetan" (Tibetan tail: Collection of Guangdong Bo) and supported by Chinese characters. The logo symbolizes the twists and turns of "Guangdong" and the rhyme of "Bo", and points out the regional attributes and industry characteristics of Guangdong Provincial Museum. Combined with the bold, modern and unique architectural style of the new Guangdong Provincial Museum. And the finishing touch is "hiding", which embodies the functional attribute of Guangdong Bo and the spiritual temperament of Guangdong Bo people who are good at hiding, and points out the symbol of Guangdong Bo and the style of Guangdong Provincial Museum which embraces all rivers and accepts both ancient and modern. The new Guangdong Provincial Museum is like an ancient carving treasure box. Its concept of spatial organization comes from the traditional ivory ball, which is far-reaching and attracts the audience to advance layer by layer. The "container" image of the new museum is concise and prominent, and the color treatment is bold, which is in sharp contrast with the gravel shape of Guangzhou Opera House. The interlocking architectural space provides flexibility for each exhibition area to operate independently. In particular, the high-altitude sliding project of giant roof steel truss structure is called "the world's first sliding" because of its heavy weight (8700 tons, the largest in the world at present) and high difficulty. It is understood that the new international understanding of the function of the museum is that education is the primary function, so the educational service facilities in the new museum are as many as 3 100㎡. The new Guangdong Provincial Museum will be based on the three exhibition areas of "history", "art" and "nature", and welcome the general audience. Relying on the cultural relics in the collection, taking into account the advantages of the collection and local characteristics, the "Art Articles" consists of four exhibitions, namely, handwriting of past dynasties, fire art-ceramics exhibition of past dynasties, purple Shi Ying Ning-Duanyan fine exhibition, lacquer wood essence-Chaozhou woodcarving art exhibition, which will be launched one after another. 1. Countless people with lofty ideals and talents turned into stars, shining brightly on the land of South Guangdong. The fourth "Lighthouse of Guangdong" tells the audience about the anti-Japanese epic of blood and fire of Guangdong soldiers and civilians. Black and white historical pictures show the indomitable revolutionary spirit of the sons and daughters of South Guangdong.
