How to close the securities account?

Note: There are three ways to close an account, but if you have a financial account under your name or have other business that must be handled in the offline business hall, you may not be able to close your account online, but you can only close your account in the offline business department of the securities company.

1. Log in to the securities company APP, find the "account cancellation" entrance, and then submit your ID photo and video witness as required. If you don't find the "account cancellation" entrance in the APP, you can contact online customer service directly in the APP and cancel the securities account through online customer service;

2. Call the customer service phone of the securities company, then apply to the customer service for account cancellation, and submit the account cancellation information according to the customer service requirements;

3. You can bring your ID card and shareholder account to the offline business hall of the securities company for cancellation.

The specific process of offline cancellation of securities accounts is as follows:

Step 1: Go to the business department where the securities account was previously opened (it must be the business department of the brokerage firm that opened the securities account before, that is, where you opened the securities account, you must cancel your securities account, and you cannot go to other brokers or other business departments of the brokerage firm that opened the securities account) to apply for cancellation of the stock account.

Step 2: According to the requirements of the brokerage business department, find the relevant person in charge of the business department and sign the list given to you by the brokerage business department.

Step 3: After the signature of the relevant person in charge of each position in the brokerage business department, go to the counter to handle the cancellation procedures of your stock account with my ID card and shareholder account card.

Step 4: Go through the formalities of closing your securities capital account on or after the second day of closing your stock account.

Note: You only need to bring your shareholder account card and ID card to cancel your stock account. However, the premise of closing a stock account is that the account cannot be traded on the same day, otherwise the account cannot be closed on the same day.

The specific process of online cancellation of securities accounts is as follows:

1, and the assets in the securities account are zero;

2. The account cannot be open on the closing day;

3. There can be no transaction, transfer or bank balance inquiry in the account on the closing day.

4. Eligible applicants shall apply to the securities company for online account cancellation. Brokers should draw up the online account cancellation process according to the company's current online account opening plan, accurately understand the true wishes of investors' online account cancellation application through video witness, and handle corresponding business for them.

5. After receiving the application for account cancellation, the securities company shall complete the transaction within 2 trading days after the account-related business is closed.
