Next season's Premier League will be played in red. This is the first time since the 2008-09 season that red is the main color scheme. Prior to this, the main color of the game ball designed by Nike for the Premier League was mostly blue.
Visually, a completely different design was adopted. The main body of red and white gradient, thick black lines and fluorescent green Nike logo make it highly recognizable in the competition.
The ball used in the Premier League matches in the new season uses the same surface materials and techniques as last season. Nike described it as "the most innovative, technologically advanced and aerodynamic game ball to date."
