A complete ship research and production system has been built. Shipbuilding enterprises in China are located in 23 provinces, cities and districts along the coast and the Yangtze River. At present, large, medium and small shipyards are built simultaneously, ships, machines and instruments are mutually matched, and state-owned enterprises, joint ventures and localities develop together. In terms of scientific research, a scientific research and design team with more than 30 research institutes and tens of thousands of scientific and technological personnel as the core has been established, forming a Industry-University-Research joint scientific and technological development system with complete functions from research and design to construction services, from introduction and digestion to absorption and innovation. The main force of shipbuilding and export has been formed. With the development of reform and opening up, local and foreign shipbuilding enterprises have sprung up, forming a shipbuilding pattern of "three points in the world" between two major military shipbuilding groups and local shipyards. The dominant position of state-owned enterprises is increasingly prominent. Last year, China earned $6,543.809 billion from ship exports, with state-owned enterprises accounting for 83%. China has nearly 2,000 shipyards and supporting enterprises with 400,000 employees. Among them, 285 enterprises undertake export. There are 440 enterprises with sales income of more than 5 million yuan and 240,000 employees. The sales revenue was 36.568 billion yuan, and the profit and tax was 352 million yuan. Of the 98 enterprises that can build seagoing vessels, 56 shipyards can build mobile seagoing vessels (see table 1).
